For the record: even though I’m a stay-at-home mom and wife, I did BEG the smalls to stay in bed just a little bit longer on Easter Sunday, just so that I would not have to know what 6 a.m. looked like that day. Apparently, sleeping in was not in the cards for Mr. KB and me yesterday, but I had my revenge by making all of the smalls eat breakfast before they were allowed to start the egg hunt. 😉 (And on the subject of Easter candy, if candy manufacturers would PLEASE stop adding Tartrazine to just about everything and figure out another solution to create yellow, that would be GREAT. Thanks!)

The eggs are found, divided up and the the one and only day of sugar excess begins for my smalls. At least they are organizing first (now if I could only get them to do that with their rooms!)

So, in some places, they have the Easter Bunny, but here in the ‘wick, we have the Easter Racoon. I first spied her on the ground, by the time I grabbed my camera, the little minx had shimmied half way up one of our trees and by the time I could get a look at her face, she was almost at the top.

Peek-a-boo, I see you Miss Racoon. I don't mind if you visit, but you better not make the leap onto my roof!

Our first (and only) Spring flower! How fitting that it opens for Easter.

I hope that you had a wonderful Easter, or if Easter isn’t your deal, then I hope that you had a fabulous Sunday. 🙂
